The way they hold in the end of the handlebar is with a nut and a rubber sleeve that gets squeezed. The flange on the nut was too big to fit in my bar so I cut the flange down in the lathe. The rubber sleeve was also too big to fit in the bar but I found a bit of gas line that was just slightly larger than the inside of the handlebar. Lubricated it with a bit of dawn and slid it in and tightened down. They look good and I can see the constabulary
