This roman-numeral insert perfectly and appropriately replaced a defunct mechanical movement in a charming blule-and-white post-WW II Taiwan Dresden-style desk-top clock case. It now has a new lease life in the 21st century. I liked being able to purchase the insert with a new battery in place.

The clock is keeping good time and looks fine. I would certainly buy from Dans Clock Shop again.

I ordered the wrong size clock insert so I contacted them through EBay message I asked if I could return it and enclose the old one that had stopped working so they could send the correct replacement,they couldn’t have been more helpful they checked the old one and found I had replaced the battery with one that was too powerful hence the clock wouldn’t work they returned my original insert refunded me less the cost of the battery and postage …..brilliant service thank you

I ordered this item at 3pm on Wednesday, and it arrived at 2pm the following day using Royal Mail Tracked 24 service. The parcel was handed to me, not left on the doorstep as is with some other carriers. The clock mechanism was wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap and the hands were in a clear plastic tube so they wouldn't get damaged in transit. You don't get better service than this. A+++++
