I wish I was able to use a stronger pole as it's scary to jump the waves while seeing the original stick bend. My suggestion is to support the thicker version and add extra bracing that can be attached to the seat or similar like a triangle. That way you can limit flexing. I tried holding the stick at 30 MPH and the wind force is brutal. This support took wave hits and 60 MPH

Hit the camera and broke the camera off the selfie stick but the mount was fine.Can’t get any more real life than that. Great appearance. Ps. The selfie stick and camera was down to so the mount took a decent hit Well made!!! Thank you
