This thermostat is about as simple as it's possible to be, while still providing z-wave connectivity to integrate it into a smart home environment. It does not have any scheduling features, it's purely a thermostat. The one I purchased was used, but in excellent shape with no cosmetic blemishes. This is a cheap option compared to buying a new smart home thermostat, and removes any dependency on a cloud based service that can shut down at any point in time (here's looking at you, Google...)
