It handles the weight of the vintage Pentax wide angle lens appropriately. This adapter allows connectivity. It does not add any automatic features to a fully manual lens hence your expectations should be set accordingly. The 20mm wide angle for a 35mm camera is equivalent to about a 60mm when used on the V2.

It's plastic, but it doesn't seem to feel like a cheap plastic. It's well worth the price, considering it is vital to the safety and integrity of the camera. It is a little bit shinier than the photo, but it's a good representation of what you receive. Item is new, and you can hear and feel it click into place. I'll be checking with them on other items.
