I have made alterations to these previously so, not a big deal - plenty to chop off & work w/. They make a great cap. The brim was NOT the cardboard type but plastic so, washable! Way better than other repros. Arrived with lightning speed from overseas. Good quality repro (wool a tad thinner than previous editions), proper color, well-stiched multi-pieced construction, marked "M-43" & size was perfect.
