For me, they will come in very handy indeed - i.e., to clearly see the inside of hollowing work when wood turning goblets and the like on the lathe. The lenses seem very good as well, so that reading (close up) is very well facilitated. Some might want to read at night with them, but I required them for wood turning purposes.
