I confirmed that power was still running through the outlets and the TV's power cable though, so I figured replacing the controller board was worth a shot for $35 before spending several hundred on a new TV...and I am so glad I did. Swapped it out and voila! TV turns on and works like new again. Seller had the exact controller board replacement, was well packaged and arrived quickly. Super happy with the purchase!
