I believe it has to do with all the electronics and safety features that are in the car that process through the radio. So no fault of the seller. He ships fast and has very good communication with his products and any issues. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase products from him in the future.

The seller notes that they must have the VIN of the vehicle that these units will be installed in and I must have given the wrong number in my message, so they called me and I read it from the car, which provided the correct VIN. The unit arrived well packaged earlier that promised and I installed it the next afternoon. Perfect in every way.
