The Sony HVRA1J 1080i belongs to Sony's renowned camcorder line offering the 1080i High Definition Video format. Although the Sony HVRA1J camcorder incorporates a compact size that fits in a palm, it features impressive characteristics that make it a suitable device for professionals who would like to shoot Digital Video or High Definition Video. This HDV/DVCAM camcorder encompasses an extractable projecting audio module that provides balanced inputs. Despite its size, the Sony HVRA1J 1080i produces high-quality results thanks to a 3-megapixels primary color single CMOS sensor in addition to its image processing IC technology and the Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T zoom lens. Conversion to Standard Definition from DVCAM/DV recording is possible in the Sony HVRA1J camcorder, allowing for flexibility. A solid, rubber lens hood is attached on the front end of this HDV/DVCAM camcorder, complete with a mechanical lens cover that protects the lens. The Sony HVRA1J 1080i comes with manual zoom and manual focus ring in addition to its Super SteadyShot Image Stabilization System.
