This was purchased as a gift and the clear plastic enclosure over the brush was stapled on. I could not give this as a gift since it appeared previously opened. When I messaged the seller regarding this he/she said it was stapled to keep the brush in the packaging. I messaged back explaining I could not offer this as a gift and there was no response. Poor misrepresentation of the product. When we arrived, he had the glass sugar bowl wrapped in bubble wrap and the top and bottom portion of the cabinet dismantled and ready to load, with the screws carefully taped to the bubble wrap. His shop is amazing, so many gorgeous pieces at fair prices. We will be back when we work on our next room.
