Apparently, one needs to allow some slack in the tape when measuring the joint. I wanted to exchange them because I was pleased with the construction. I started a return, the only option that revealed a cost for shipping was to pay $5 for EACH splint. I wanted to pay the postage at the local post office. Contact seller and only receive a generic reply "to protect you..."
