It is unfortunate that Dodge recalled 300,000 automatic Dodge Darts with defective shift cable design placement; BUT DID NOT do the same on the manual shift Dodge Dart. As mentioned in email many Dart Forums and Dart owners have opted for an aftermarket heat shield to offset and preserve their shift cable and bushings. Hope this helps!

Then, when I made the purchase, I received my item within a few days, faster than I anticipated. Because of the item, I don't anticipate purchasing more, but if I ever need to, I would purchase from bushingfix again.
