A few minutes ago I picked up a piece of popcorn off the living room floor without crushing it--without leaving my easy chair. It only applies the pressure you exert through the handle. Every household should have at least one of these for indoor and outdoor use--I'm going to buy a second one. I can still get down on my knees to pick up things--but I want to cut back on that!
