Only very minor issue is very strong smell of plasticizer initially, probably coming from the black tread. It was strong enough to catch the back of the throat. I've popped it on the back porch to air for a couple of days, and then I'm sure it will last for years in use.

The non slip feet and top make it much safer and the top platform is a good size to make you feel safe. It is not too heavy to lift and my granddaughter has already nominated it as hers and moves it around the house wherever she needs to get a bit higher. If I need another I will order again.
