Positioning of the flash head allows for freedom of movement with a 360-degree light rotation. The Nikon Speedlight SB 700 also comes with a thermal detection system that prevents overheating. Three different distribution patterns of light are possible with this on-camera flash. These patterns allow for options in portraits and group shots as well as general lighting; color filtration is also excellent. The Nikon Shoe Mount Flash can also be dismounted from the shoe and used as a remote for photos that might need different lighting effects.
