I would have been fine with splicing the wires, but the housing itself is not adequate to cover the radiator. I dont know how it would fit in an S10, but this product does NOT fit corvettes like it describes.

It looks well made and totally reliable, all fins are straight, no apparent mishandling. Definitely worth the price I paid. I recommend this vendor.
