I replaced the secondary, 120 amp alternator 4 times from other suppliers. ECM could not communicate with 3 alternators lighting battery light on dash. Another alternator did communicate with ECM but was erratic supplying over 16+ volts and causing the truck to go into protection mode. i decided to try one last time. The performance check list in theboxlistedcomputercommication test passed.
