The Titleist Pro V1x can be a total performance golf ball. Renowned for its exceptional distance and soft feel, it can be your ticket to hitting long and straight. Aerodynamic engineers fine tuned the dimples on the cover and ended up with a 328 spherically tiled tetrahedral dimple pattern. Once hit, it can cruise into the atmosphere and stay there before dropping back down without a hint of a hook or slice. Its steep descent angle allows for excellent positioning with irons and wedges. Whether you're a professional golfer looking for those 10 extra yards or an amateur desperate for the occasional par, the Titleist can deliver. It has been designed to work well with all drivers, irons, and wedges. Part of the magic behind the long distance travel capabilities of this ball is the patented cover. Manufactured in house by Titleist, the cover is a thermoset urethane elastomer with a unique formulation. The golf balls don't feel like the typical long distance "rock." They're softer and more responsive. This can not only give additional spring off the tee, but it can offer softer putting response. While the dimple pattern gives the golf ball its consistent flight and trajectory control, the elasticity of the cover can give it a superior short game spin and excellent scoring control. The Pro V1x has an additional feature to aid with scoring: an AIM alignment arrow stamped onto the sides. Though these balls do not come with a shelf life, it can be possible to determine the date of manufacture for each ball. Titleist changes the color and/or design of the alignment arrows every other year. Titleist Pro V1 series golf balls can be great golf equipment accessories.
