After inserting the applicator, the ovule is released into the vaginal canal. This type of Monistat vaginal cream insertion device has a tubular construction to keep hands and fingers clean during the application. The ovule stays in place all day, even if you do a vigorous workout. Your body heat warms the ovule, which allows it to release the active ingredients. The medication within each ovule disrupts the growth of the fungus. Each of the plastic Monistat vaginal applicators is disposable and can be thrown into a waste can. The inactive drugs of this product include Gelatin, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil Base, Titanium Dioxide, External Cream: Benzoic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Myristate, Polysorbate 60, Potassium Hydroxide, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water, and Stearyl Alcohol. This over-the-counter medicine for yeast infections is designed to end your days of dealing with irritating skin conditions and provide you with relief of your symptoms.
