The Seagate internal HDD is designed with a 2.5-inch form factor, making it compatible for use with laptop computers. Additionally it is also suitable for power-constrained and/or space-constrained data centers. The SAS interface enables you to transfer data between the 15000 RPM hard drive and the host at speeds of 6 Gbps. With a cache memory of 16 MB, the 146.8 GB Seagate Savvio 15K.2 lets you search stored records in seconds. As the operating temperature of the Seagate internal HDD is low, it consumes less power and dissipates less heat, ensuring cool and silent operation of the drive. The self-encrypting drive (SED) application of the 146.8 GB Seagate Savvio 15K.2 ensures high-grade security to your stored data.
