I set my 40-10m end-fed wire antenna up without any adjustments with the box end at about 4.5 ft and the wire end up about 40 ft, and am very impressed. I've made many contacts in the US, as well as in Western and Eastern Europe, South America, and I had a contact in Japan just last night. I will definately buy a Nelson again when the need arises for an 80m antenna.

Out of all of the antennas I bought, this Brand new Nelson antenna is by far the best quality most well built antenna I have ever purchased, looks phenomenal and is now the best antenna I have in my inventory and not because of what I just wrote about, the performance is amazing! The cost is cheap compared to what you get.

I’ll likely try it in more of a slower at some point as well. Low noise for me in this configuration. High quality antenna!
