Of course all the repairability / sustainability features are a huge bonus. The reason I went ahead with 4th Gen, 'cause they switched to obnoxious PWM flickering OLED screens afterwards. My only desire is an addition of real actual physical no scam hardware kill switches like in Librem 5. But we live in imperfect world. I totally get it.

Note that US customers don't get the 5 year warranty with the company, but still worth it for the price and the fact that you can replace parts. You can get the 5 year warranty if purchased through Murena but the price is almost double. I had to turn on 4G calling (VoLTE) to get the cell service to work, but works well!

FYI, US users who are wondering if this will work with your carrier - it most likely will, but you must set the phone to use calls over VoLTE as the stock ROM does not default to that. If you do a custom ROM (like /e/OS) it works out of the box. You might not get 5G with ATT though, so check with Tmo or its resellers. Big whoop for a phone with replaceable parts in 2025!!!
