All of the TMI trunk kits we sell (for Chevelle, Camaro, Mustang, Nova, Tri-Five) are made the same; the bottom piece is a thick piece of carpet while the sides are hard, vinyl-covered boards. We have sold 100's of these over the past 12 years and you are the first to ever be unhappy with the carpet piece. But again, we are very sorry.
