Take your Sony Alpha SLT-A99 DSLR camera to the seashore or mountaintop to scope out the scenery by digitally clicking away at six frames per second (fps). The BIONZ image processor, which converts the raw image data from the camera into a usable format, delivers noise reduction and enhanced image quality for an improved picture.With the custom Sony Alpha translucent mirror technology, the 19-point dual autofocus system features a lock-on function that continuously monitors moving subjects and changes the focus in real time to match the image. Whether you're shooting pictures or videos, the system will keep your subject in sharp focus and deliver a blur-free shot. The Sony A99 lens can also automatically detect faces and make adjustments for a better composition.The high-contrast OLED electronic viewfinder features a massive 2,359,000-dot resolution and a wide 31.9-degree viewing angle, providing an accurate real-time display of the image in front of you. The EVF displays information about the exposure settings before you even capture the image, so pick from any mode you want. The rear three-inch LCD screen features a 1,228,000-dot resolution for previewing and framing images. It's also resistant to reflections. The ability to tilt 180 degrees vertically and rotate 270 degrees horizontally gives you more freedom when shooting. Sony A99 cameras can also add depth and detail to your videos with 24p to 50p/60p full HD recording at a maximum video resolution of 1920 x 1080 in AVCHD format. The SteadyShot Inside image stabilization helps compensate for a shaking or moving camera, which gives you the ability to capture sharper images. Attach any Sony lens you want, and the device will automatically compensate for any aberrations or lens distortion on it.The digital camera's lithium-ion battery will last approximately 500 shots (or 410 shots with the viewfinder active) before requiring a recharge. Tested to withstand the rigors of real-world conditions, the Sony A99 features a magnesium alloy body that is light and strong, protecting the sensitive equipment from dust and moisture. The shutter can also withstand over 200,000 releases before performance begins to degrade. The A99 has numerous ports, including an HDMI output, a hi-speed USB 2.0 port, a DC power input, and a microphone and headphone slot. It also supports flash memory formats and features a built-in GPS. This device comes with several accessories, including a body cap, USB cable, rechargeable battery, eyepiece cup, shoulder strap, battery charger, and accessory shoe cap.
