The Sony PS-LX300USB Turntable will let you make use of a record collection that is simply gathering dust. The Sound Forge system offers both silent and listening digitizing of songs. With this fully automatic turntable anybody can transfer the music from vinyl records to a digitally formatted file in moments.Connecting the included USB output cable to any compatible PC or notebook allows the included Audio Studio software to save the recording accurately in a digital format that is compatible with most modern stereos and portable music systems. In addition to the USB type of audio output the Sony PS-LX300USB also offers RCA output. You can connect it to any of your home theater speakers stereos receivers or amplifiers. It also works with your video player so you can enjoy a full entertainment experience in your home. This flexibility allows you to use the turntable for listening to music from its original vinyl format.The turntable’s stylus offers durable construction that will not scratch the vinyl's surface. You will get about 500 hours of play out of the stylus. If you need to replace the stylus of these Sony music accessories the old piece pops off for easy removal. The new unit can then be pushed into place with your hand in a matter of seconds.This Sony PS-LX300 turntable uses drive belt technology to rotate the vinyl disc. There are two speed settings so you can use it for your LPs EPs and 45s. The built-in phono preamp allows for excellent amplification and sound quality. These pslx300usb players offer fully automatic operation. Once you put the record on the turntable the stylus extends and rests gently on the record's first groove. The supplied Audio Studio software facilitates the digitizing of your music. It works on Windows and Mac operating systems. The software package allows you to check when each file has finished uploading and to test it for accuracy.The Sony PS-LX300 features a static balance turn arm for smooth playing. This arm captures every note of the music in the grooves of the vinyl. As a result the new recording of the music will be free of skips or static feedback. You can convert the music into MP3 files for your iPod or smartphone or to play on your computer. These turntables also feature a P-mount anti-skate cartridge for optimized sound playing. You can make tuner adjustments to yield clear crisp bass notes and to filter out any background noise.This Sony turntable measures 3.9 inches tall by 13.5 inches wide by 15.7 inches deep. These turntables weigh six pounds. This model works with 110 volts of power and the turntable allows you to enjoy all of your favorite vintage music.
