Swiss architect Hans-J rg Ruch has made an international name for himself with his thrillingly designed buildings and restorations. Based in St. Moritz since 1989, his specialty has been the reconstruction of the grand farmhouses and homesteads of the Alpine Engadin in southeast Switzerland--an architect's dream environment as an epic stage for architectural experiment.
