To make sure you get the maximum benefit from each charge, Sony's InfoLithium batteries have no life-shortening "memory effect." To keep you informed of remaining power, Sony's AccuPower meter spells out remaining battery time in minutes on the camcorder's LCD Monitor or Viewfinder. Another thing you don't need to worry about is holding the camcorder perfectly still. Sony's SteadyShot system uses sophisticated motion sensors to remove unwanted picture shake. With Sony's Hyper-Precision CCD image sensors, you're not sacrificing image size or picture quality. Super NightShot Enables you to shoot subjects up to 3 meters away in total darkness. Sony Digital Handycam camcorders record audio in the digital format, which gives you the power, clarity, and accuracy you've become accustomed to from compact discs. Control L (LANC) Provides two-way communication between the camcorder and other video devices.
