Product Information
Written and starring important Mexican filmmaker Raul de Anda, BAJO EL CIELO DE SONORA (UNDER SONORA'S SKY) is a Western sympathetic to the plight of Native Americans during Mexican expansion. El Sureno is one of the finest military officers in the revolutionary army, and is planning his retirement when he receives one last assignment. Traveling to Sonora, he is charged with making peace with the local Yaqui Indians. In disguise, he investigates the events surrounding the Yaqui, and discovers that they are merely defending themselves against aggression. Armed with this knowledge, can he make the right decision for both sides? BAJO EL CIELO DE SONORA has the social concern common to Mexican cinema during its Golden Age in the 1940s.

It arrived in a week, in good condition and quality. I would normally write "just as described" here but when I removed the Blu-ray from the envelope, the first thing I noticed was the shrink wrapped looked suspect (sort of homemade). Then when I opened the case, I saw smudges on the playing surface of the disc. I have never seen that on "Brand New" discs. Still satisfied.
