There is no space for the cable casing in the base of the lamp and the stem of the lamp is too thin to support the weight of the lamp shade. The stem does not fit onto the base. Everything went great as described in my previous comment. He made these most beautiful wall sconces exactly as I wished:colors, brass finish,rotation joint,European bulb sockets. If you see lamps in other Indian shops of the same kind (solid brass, retro Stilnovo etc) send him a screenshot and he’ll handcraft it for you.That’s what I did.He sells more than on display in his shop. Thanks😊
