Actually contacted Nakamichi and they are still strong in Asia. While they did not confirm they sell this product, they also did not protest. This makes me believe genuine Nakamichi and I am very happy as I am making new cables for my audio equipment.

They have limited wire gauge capacity due to the length of the set screws. Thicker wire causes the set screws to rub against the cover shell. So for heavier gauges you must solder to make them fit.
