I used Bluetooth to connect my iPhone to an Ioniq 5. Instructions are not accurate since there are no buttons especially one that could reset the device. Everything seems to be working correctly and after the initial setup; every connection to carplay is now immediate. $8 and one week is a reasonable cost for its convenience.
