"Eureka - Season One" consists of 558 minutes of sci-fi entertainment on a 3-disc set. The stars of the show include Colin Ferguson, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Erica Cerra, Neil Grayston, and Joe Morton as the main characters. The DVD set includes 12 episodes, each of which is 44 minutes in length. "Eureka - Season One" is set in the fictional town of Eureka, Oregon. In this town, all of the citizens are scientific geniuses. Almost all of the town's residents work at a company called Global Dynamics. This company is responsible for major technological breakthroughs. Every episode features some misuse of technology. Various mysterious accidents almost happen, and the characters must all think quickly to avert disaster. The sheriff, Jack Carter, works hard to solve all of the problems, but another, larger problem is always on the horizon. "Eureka - Season One" is a sci-fi 3-disc set that is suitable for family viewing. The material is such that it can also be classified as a comedy-drama.
