June 6, 1944, The Normandy Invasion she towed in 2 gliders carrying members of the 101st airborne during the invasion of fortress Europe. She served through WWII and was involved in the Berlin Airlift in 1949. She still flies at airshows, and tours out of her home base in Riverside, CA . Sign was accurately described and quickly shipped; Thank you.

However, I did believe I was buying vintage signs, not reproductions. So, in hindsight, the prices were a little high for new signs. Maybe the name of the sellers name starting with “Vintage” coupled with the fact that I was specifically searching for vintage signs.
