Synopsis
Is living the life you've wished for really a dream come true? Lucy Young is twenty-six and tired. Tired of fetching coffees for senior TV producers, sick of going on disastrous dates, and done with living in a damp flat with roommates who never buy toilet paper. After another disappointing date, Lucy stumbles upon a wishing machine. Pushing a coin into the slot, Lucy closes her eyes and wishes with all her might: Please, let me skip to the good part of my life. When she wakes the next morning to a handsome man, a ring on her finger, a high-powered job, and two storybook-perfect children, Lucy can't believe this is real--especially when she looks in the mirror, and staring back is her own fortysomething face. Has she really skipped ahead like she's always wanted, or has she simply forgotten a huge chunk of her life? As Lucy begins to embrace new relationships and the perks of maturity, she'll have to ask herself: Can she go back to her previous life, and if so, can she stand to leave the good part behind?

- 0***0 (63)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufAs described was a great value and one of the few books I was missing iN my set as a hardcover. Great value. It looks brand new and I am very Happy with the enIRE EXPERience. The seller took the precautions of having it shipped quick;y and wrapped to make sure it would not be damaged in shipping. I am very appreciative Of their value and treatment of his book. Will definitely recommend this seller to my book club for their book needs. Nice to know they don’t gouge the price like so many do.
- o***b (122)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufAccurate description and good value. Shipping was a question mark. Not at all sure who the shipping partner was. Link to tracking at USPS provided no updates for more than 10 days, only that the book had been picked up. Perhaps the cross country transit is just super slow. I was relieved when the product finally arrived.
- c***i (741)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzte 6 MonateBestätigter KaufMy book came not in the way described- I mentioned it to Zoom Books (Seller), who promptly addressed the situation and gave me options on how to proceed...which I was NOT expecting. These days, exceptional Customer Service can be a bit of a rarity- I MUST say, that, HANDS DOWN, the Integrity, Alacrity and Speed involved in making me happy re: my purchase was OUTSTANDING! Zoom Books has won a FOREVER CUSTOMER- I shall endeavor, whenever I can, to purchase from THEM- YOU SHOULD TOO! A+++ & BEYOND!
