The Fujitsu Mobile is an internal hard drive that operates at high speeds to provide low seek times to the user. A Serial ATA drive, this Fujitsu 60 GB hard drive sports a 2.5-inch form factor designed to fit laptop-class computers, though it can be used in desktops with an appropriate adapter. With a spindle speed of 5400 RPM, this internal hard drive provides consistent performance for write and read seek times, averaging out to 12 ms without any performance tweaking. Additionally, the performance of this Fujitsu 60 GB hard drive is aided by the use of an 8 MB buffer. The combination of these two technologies allows the Fujitsu Mobile to maintain a low maximum seek time of 22 ms on average. Internal Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) motors in the Fujitsu 60 GB hard drive help to reduce unwanted external noise. In addition, an external transfer rate of 150 MBps allows this hard drive to quickly transfer files to other storage mediums with minimal fuss. Combining high-speed and high-reliability technologies, this Fujitsu 60 GB hard drive provides the user with a solid choice for digital storage.
