This 70mm x 102mm spindle on my old Colnago helped acheive the desired chain line. The bottom bracket has only had 1 ride so far but it seems to have decent bearings. I did disassemble it and lubricated mating surfaces with a good quality grease to prevent the inevitable creak that occurs from steel and aluminum contacting each other. If the bearings do do not last long they should be relatively easy to replace as they seem to be a standard size
