The instructions could have used a note warning the installer to start the calibration with the garage door closed. I started the calibration with the door open and it drove the chain into the upper travel stop. Also I learned through this purchase that the calibration had been lost on my original board and recalibration corrected the problem. Now I have a spare board.

I contacted them and told them and they immediately filed a claim with federal ex and ask if I wanted a refund or a reship. I told them I would like a ship, they were out of the item at the time and informed me of that and let me know it would be a few days within a week I had the item.
