When I installed it into my thinkpad t61, along with thermal paste and pads on the chipset, it does not make that grinding noise like the original fan did. Good value, and good appearance.

Nothing against the seller, sure there are plenty of versions of my computer and I really don't know what I'm doing. Just glad I was able to find a part for my computer from 2001 and get it going again!
