The packaging was just enough that it wasn’t over packaged, but it was very well protected. I ordered a first print of an album I loved when I was in university and I felt the price was perfect considering the sentimental value and the rarity (in North America anyway). Vinyl was placed in a protective sleeve for the journey (no charge) Records are always well packed. Also accepted a lower offer for record so all in all I reckon you did ok.
