I’m not a photographer but a marksmen and it handles my .308 RUGER and .556 ar-15 perfectly. When I do my part I’m putting down dime groups and 100yards(max for my range). So if you’re looking for a good sturdy tripod for bench shooting,prone or sitting it does the trick for me just get a good ball head and your set

Movement is super smooth and precise. And it’s gorgeous to look at. It’s a great value at 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost of other lesser Gear tripod heads. It arrived in pristine condition. I highly recommend this geared head! I’ve reviewed both Arca Swiss gear heads, and a number of others. No contest! Shipping was fast. Thank you so much!
