Synopsis
The IET Wiring Regulations is the national standard for electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial settings. It is the essential standard for all those concerned with the design, installation, certification and maintenance of electrical installations. Amendment 2:2022 is a major update to BS 7671:2018, The IET Wiring Regulations , Eighteenth Edition. BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 incorporates Amendment 1:2020 which brought about new requirements for Electric Vehicle Charging Installations which embraced changing technology within this sector. Additional changes within BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 include protection against thermal effects and fire caused by electrical equipment, protection against voltage disturbances and electromagnetic disturbances and a new chapter on prosumer's low-voltage electrical installations covering energy efficiency measures, the interface with the smart grid, the management of electricity consumption, the management of renewable sources of electricity, and energy storage., The IET Wiring Regulations is the national standard for electrical installations in domestic, commercial and industrial settings.     Good price, new packaging, no damage to product. Only issue I had was that the box was only as wide as the products container so it was very tight, and there was only shipping insulation on one of the sides of the product inside the box. If something happened to the other side of the box, the product could have been damaged.
