The A-T AT4010-50E Perpetual Chrono watches from Citizen are stylish accessories for men who love international intrigue. The watch is featured in a titanium protective case that guards the quartz movement from damage. The titanium surface has a black ion plate and looks eye-catching and modern.Citizen has mounted the crown and control buttons in their usual position on the right side of the casing. The bracelet is composed of burnished titanium, measures between 6.5 inches and 7 inches, and is appropriate for most men's sizes. The clasp can be released by triggering the concealed double-push button. The entire package is remarkably stylish and eye-catching, and the attractive appearance is matched by the strength of its construction. The watch is noticeably light in weight, especially since titanium is both stronger and lighter than other metals.The transparent crystal faces on these Citizen watches are almost impossible to scratch or break. They are made from a single piece of synthetic sapphire that has been treated to be non-reflective and easy to clean. This Citizen watch for men is also water-resistant at pressures equivalent to 200 meters in depth. This means that you can wear this watch while you are swimming, bathing, or snorkeling with no problems at all, although you should avoid wearing it when scuba diving.This Citizen A-T AT4010-50E watch features a quality solar powered Eco-Drive system. This perpetual power system has saved an estimated 10 million batteries in America alone. The Eco-Drive works by placing solar collectors under the translucent face of the dial. The watch includes a reserve battery in case it goes more than 180 days without receiving sufficient daylight to recharge. A low-battery reserve indicator will show in the unlikely occurrence that it sits in darkness for too long.In addition to their innovative power supply, all Citizen watches feature notable advances in timekeeping. The clock and the perpetual calendar are both radio controlled, which means that they are always perfectly in synchronization across five time zones and other dates like daylight savings time. This is called the atomic timekeeping system and it works all across Europe, North America, and Japan.These Citizen watches include an integral 1-second chronograph that can measure as long as 60 minutes. The outer ring of the dial has tachymeter markings for convenient estimation of distance and average speed. The luminous white chronograph hour, minute, and second hands are all high contrast and easy to read. There is an alarm function as well as a number of other programmable operations.The solar-powered Eco-Drive and the water-resistant titanium case mean that this is a fantastic watch for outdoor men. After all, the Citizen A-T AT4010-50E never needs to have its time adjusted, and it never runs out of batteries. The case is stronger than steel and the dial is made of a piece of sapphire.
