Although the ad did not mention it, it is a fairly standard practice to include both caps with a lens (otherwise, there is a high risk of damaging the lens), or at least mention that it is not included with the lens. The aforementioned notwithstanding, the seller communicated well after the fact and I would not hesitate to purchase from him again.
