The action was well set out of the box in fact I haven't touched it because the neck is set perfect and there is no fret buzz as it plays with ease. There are a couple of flaws with the binding but not too noticeable. I did install a set Zakk Wylde EMG's in it though. You almost have to if you want it to scream. Overall it is worth the price you pay. Good deal.
