The Legend of Zelda continues in a very special handheld Nintendo DS Lite console package. The special release set is the only way to get the official Nintendo DS Lite Zelda edition. Unlike the solid-color versions of the DS Lite, this version is designed based on the world of Zelda and features a completely gold system case and stylus. The DS system also has a triangular Triforce symbol in the bottom left corner. The Lite version has a brighter screen that can showcase improved graphics. A longer battery life allows you to play longer and while on the go. The battery is rechargeable, making it easy to charge without the need to purchase new batteries. The DS Lite features two backlit screens. The bottom screen of the device is a touch screen that is used for menu navigation and all types of game access. Built-in wireless connections allow you to interact with other players that also own Nintendo DS consoles. The gaming set also comes with the full game cartridge for “The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.” The graphics in the game feature a unique cel animation that mixes traditional Zelda designs with anime designs. Characters in the game are bright and vibrant, including the heroes of the game along with villains and other creatures that you will meet along the way. Many other games can be played on this Nintendo device. Cartridges are inserted into the back of the device and will automatically load on the main screen of the console. Digital games can be downloaded directly from the Nintendo Store and include Nintendo action titles, puzzles, and demos of popular favorites. Expandable storage allows you to save files and Nintendo game content directly to an SD card. This gives you access to all types of content and also allows you to add custom items like music. The Nintendo DS Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass special edition set is a great piece of gaming history because of the inclusion of the system and the game.
