Definitely keeps the wind more out of my face but the plastic is wavy and kinda distorts what you see directly in front of the bike. The screws and plastic that hold it all together are also cheap and inferior, not long enough, need lots of thread lock. However, for the price point it does the job I need it to do and is easily removed using the included Allen key set that I now keep with the bikes tool kit. Ride safe.
