You could buy ready-made items or he could make you something out of various leathers. Now, the craftspeople are offshore, but newly accessible because of communications technology. This vest was made by a skilled crafter in Pakistan. It is adjustable because of the side laces. Stitching is perfect. High quality leather. The snaps have the company logo pressed into the metal, an unexpected detail! I am pleased with this vest!
