It is more rugged than the thin clear case I had on it. That one cracked easily. I don't know how long this one will last, but it seems like it has been made with sturdier plastics so we'll see. I like that it has taller feet to lift the laptop up some, may give more airflow, because my Mac runs hot. It should last good, cause I'll just keep on my desk and minimal travel.
