For someone who does this, this isn't what you're looking for. I didn't wash it, so I don't know if it piles up. Color matches the pictures online. It fits my bed perfectly. For the cheap price, I am happy with the bed set.

However the comforter want to bad. The set came with a comforter, one pillow sham, bed skirt and a little decorative pillow. The quality odd none. It’s not super thick and I ended up putting another blanket under the comforter. I hope it holds up to washing and doesn’t thin out.
